John LoGuirato:

LoGuirato had a season-high three points on a goal and an assist, plus four shots, during Plattsburgh's 2-0 State University of New York Athletic Conference season-opening win over SUNY Institute of Technology. He helped a defensive unit allow the Wildcats only one shot on goal and post its fifth shutout of the season, extending the Cardinals' home unbeaten streak to 24 games dating to Sep. 2005.

Jake Jankowski:

Jankowski guided Wisconsin Lutheran to two dramatic wins this past week. In the Warriors 2-1 win over MSOE on Saturday, Jankowski successfully converted on a penalty kick attempt in the 79th minute to tie the score at 1. In Sunday's 1-0 overtime win over Dubuque, Jankowski converted on another penalty kick in the 95th minute to send WLC to the victory.

Jacob Residorf:

Junior center back and captain, has been dominating in the air leading the team in head balls won and has lead Medaille's stifling defense to holding opponents to a mere 2 shots on goal this week in two matches.

Matt Kochanowski:

Kochanowski logged six goals and three assists in three victories for the Stars last week. On Wednesday, Kochanowski logged two goals in the Stars' 2-1 win over Wheaton College. On Friday, Kochanowski recorded his first hat trick of the season in a 5-0 win over Maranatha Baptist. Then on Saturday, Kochanowski logged a goal and two assists in an 8-0 win over Marian College.Kochanowski has scored a goal in four straight games and logged at least one point in each of the Stars' last five contests.On the year he has eight goals and five assists.

Mihai Cotet:

Texas-Dallas junior forward Mihai Cotet (Bralia, Romania / Nicolae Balcescu HS) scored four goals over a 2-0 weekend in ASC play. Cotet scored both goals in the Comets’ 2-0 win over league defending champion Texas-Tyler and converted on a bicycle kick and also notched the game-winner in overtime against Concordia-Texas.

Cristhian Acuna:

Junior forward/midfielder CRISTHIAN ACUNA (East Newark, NJ/Harrison) of the New Jersey City University men’s soccer team has been selected as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his brilliant collegiate career after scoring four goals and adding two assists for 10 points in a 2-0 week for the Gothic Knights (5-2).His award marks the second consecutive time in the first three weeks of the season that a 2006 All-NJAC Gothic Knight veteran has received the top conference offensive award.Acuna, a First-Team All-NJAC and First-Team D3Kicks.com All-Region selection in 2006, took over the 2007 team lead in both goals (7) and points (19) and now has five assists. It was his third career multiple goal game and second of this season.He opened the week on September 15, helping NJCU open its 2007 NJAC schedule with a 3-0 road win over William Paterson University. After assisting on the game winner in the 23rd minute, Acuna put the game out of reach at 71:31 when he knocked in his fourth goal of the season for a 3-0 lead.In NJCU’s 4-2 non-conference win over St. Joseph’s College (NY) on September 16, Acuna contributed to all four of the Gothic Knight goals, scoring his first career hat trick and assisting on the eventual game-winner to move into fifth place in school history in points.Acuna’s seven points against St. Joseph’s give him 64 for his career, with 19 goals and 26 assists. He moved into a share of second place in program history in assists—matching former All-American Chris Rosenthal—and five off Johan Gonzalez’ club standard of 31. NJCU opened a 1-0 lead at 11:04 of the first half when Acuna finished a one-on-one breakaway against the opposing keeper for an easy tally.Acuna made it 2-0 at 29:55 when he zipped in a shot from 10 yards out. Just 1:52 later, Acuna delivered a solid corner kick on the left side, which was headed in for the eventual game-winning goal and a 3-0 lead.Acuna put NJCU in front 4-0 at 57:54, when he was taken down in the box and converted the ensuing penalty kick. He is now a perfect 6-for-6 in career penalty kicks.On the season, through September 16, Acuna leads the NJAC in points (19) and points per game (3.17), ranks second in goals (7) and goals per game (1.17), third in assists (5) and assists per game (0.83), tied for third in shots per game (3.67), and tied for fourth in shots. Kyle Fossey:

Fossey helped keep UMass Dartmouth unbeaten on the campaign with a pair of shutout victories this past week as the Corsairs raised their record to 5-0 and 1-0 in league action. On Sept. 15, the Townsend, Mass. native made six saves to earn his third shutout of the season as UMass Dartmouth defeated Western Connecticut, 1-0. Fossey has not allowed a goal in the past 276 minutes and 14 seconds, a streak which began on Sept. 8.

Drew Dilley:

Dilley was instrumental in the Norwich Cadets 3-0 week, bringing their overall record to 5-1. In Wednesday's comeback 3-2 overtime victory Dilley assisted on the game winner over Elms in 2OT. On Saturday night, Dilley continued to pull the strings for Norwich as they came back against a strong Suffolk team away in Boston scoring 2 goals as the Cadets battled back from 0-2 down to win 3-2 scoring 3 goals in the final 16 minutes. Dilley capped off his fantastic week by scoring the first 3 goals, all in the first half, in Norwich's 4-0 Sunday victory over Lyndon State.

Jorge Vega:

Vega scored three goals and had an assists as Hardin-Simmons started the defense of its ASC title with a pair of wins. Vega scored the game-winner in overtime against Texas Lutheran in a 2-1 win and then scored the first and third goals in a 3-2 win over Schreiner.

Ryan Kelley:

Kelley paced the Rhode Island College attack this past week with seven points (3-1) as the Anchormen posted an overall record of 2-1, including 1-0 mark in the conference circuit. The Hope, R.I. native registered three points, including his fourth marker of the season, to lift Rhode Island College to a 5-2 Little East Conference victory over visiting UMass Boston on Sept. 15. Earlier in the week, the Little East Conference Offensive Player of the Week scored both goals, including the game-winner in overtime, in a 2-1 win at intra-state rival Johnson Wales.

Pierre Hoppenot:

Junior midfielder Pierre Hoppenot recorded a goal and two assists last week for the No. 11 Washington U. men’s soccer team. Hoppenot assisted the game-winning goal against Principia on Tuesday, Sept. 11, a game that the Bears won, 2-0. Hoppenot added a goal and an assist in WU’s 3-0 win over Southwestern University on Friday, Sept. 14. The Bears finished the week with a 2-1 record, their only loss coming at No. 1 Trinity University, 1-0.

Ashley Ivey:

Ashley Ivey, a junior from Elizabethtown, Ky. has begun to play very well for the Colonels. Her awareness and timing of when to get forward in the offensive attack was rewarded when she assisted on Marina Hoe’s 2nd goal in Wednesday night’s match against Asbury College (Ky.). IVEY’s solid play has been a contributing factor to the Colonel’s strong defensive play. In 3 weeks of competition, the Colonels have allowed only 3 goals, posted 2 shut-outs, and also post a goals-against average of 0.50.

Lindsey Macklin:

Ohio Wesleyan senior defender Lindsey Macklin (Columbus, OH/Bexley) scored twice, including the game-winner in the second over time, to lift the Battling Bishops past Mount St. Joseph, 3-2. She converted a Bishop corner kick to tie the game at 1-1 and also converted another corner at the beginning of the second extra session. She then was part of a stifling OWU defense that kept DePauw off the scoreboard for the first 84 minutes of a 3-1 OWU victory. Ohio Wesleyan was 2-0 for the week.

Aimee Kahn-Foss:

Senior forward Aimee Kahn-Foss had three goals and one assist in the Scotties two victories this week. In addition she had the game winning goal in both victories this week. Kahn-Foss' game winner in the 1-0 victory over Rhodes College gave the Scotties their first victory in school history over a nationally ranked opponent.

Kim Lane:

Senior forward Kim Lane had a huge offensive game for the Blue Jays against Washington College on Saturday night. Lane scored three goals and added four assists in the 9-0 victory. She broke the JHU record for points in a game, finishing with 10. She also recorded the second hat trick of her career.

Caitlin Malone:

Junior forward Caitlin Malone scored five goals, including three game-winners, as Washington University extended its regular season winning streak to 21 games with three victories last week. Malone recorded a hat trick on Tuesday in the Bears’ 3-0 win over Principia College in the 2007 homer opener. On Saturday, she scored the game-winner in a 4-0 win over UW-Oshkosh. Malone capped the week by scoring in overtime as WU posted a 2-1 victory over Loras College on Sunday. She leads the team and the UAA in game-winning goals (4), goals scored (6) and points (13).

Ann Donner:

Senior forward Ann Donner had a goal and an assist in Hamline's 4-3 loss to Bethel and then had 2 goals and an assist in Hamline's 3-1 win over Buena Vista. Donner has scored 11 goals and added 2 assists in Hamline's first 5 games. She is currently ranked 4th in the nation in goals per game and has helped lead Hamline to a 4-1 record, the best start to a season in program history.

Megan Gloster:

Gloster backstopped Eastern Connecticut to a 1-0-1 mark this past week, holding the opposition scoreless in her fifth consecutive appearance. On Sept. 12, the Agawam, Mass. native posted a career-high 12 saves to preserve a 0-0 draw against nationally-ranked Amherst College. Three days later, Gloster made six saves in just 45 minutes of scoreless action in the Little East Conference opening win over Plymouth State, 5-0. She has not allowed a goal in 290 minutes of action this season.

Kate Kiley:

Senior Kate Kiley (Deham, MA/Noble and Greenough School), a former Wooster goalkeeper, scored the first two goals of her career, including the game-winner in overtime in a 2-1 win over Carnegie Mellon. Her other goal gave the Fighting Scots an insurmountable 3-0 lead in the 81st minute of a 5-1 victory over Alma. The Scots went 2-1 on the week, also falling to Otterbein, 2-1.

Rayza Santiago:

Junior midfielder Rayza Santiage was responsible for preserving the Herons' perfect record, now 6-0-0, as she netted both of William Smith's goals in a 2-1 win over DeSales on Sunday. She found the back of the net on a loose ball in front of the goal in the first half, before beating the Bulldogs' goalie on a penalty kick with 2:10 remaining in the game.

Kathleen Keniston:

On Sept. 15, Keniston scored a season-high six points as Keene State College overpowered Little East Conference rival Southern Maine, 7-2. The Minneapolis, Minn. product registered a pair of goals, including the decisive score, while also dishing out a pair of helpers as Keene State opened the conference circuit with a victory.

Caitlin Tero:

Caitlin Tero a senior central midfielder had 2 goals and 2 assist this week in a tie and a win for the Lady Spartans to remain 5-0-1 as a team. She reached the 40/40 mark with 44 goals and 40 assists this for her career.
