Owens came back with an equally impressive performance against Maryville on Sunday and limited the player he marked to a minimal amount of shots in a 1-0 loss in double overtime.

Her distribution out of the back, strong play, and ability to win the ball in the air helped the Colonels secure their first shut-out of the season. Hubbard came to the Colonels last season as a Div I transfer from Georgia Southern University (Ga.). They are hoping her confidence in the back will help to elevate their defensive play and solidify the defensive third of the field.
Brittney Parker:
Parker made her first collegiate soccer match a memorable one, standing out in both halves of the field for Monmouth during its 1-0 win over visiting Eureka. Parker started the game as an outside defender, helping the Fighting Scots hold the Red Devils to just one shot in the match. Millsaps dropped its second game on a pair of own goals late in the second half despite excellent attacking from Sanford and the Majors who held a late 1-0 lead through the 70th minute.

The following day, she stopped three shots, including a critical save in the final two minutes, in a 1-0 victory over Westfield State College.
Olivia Fisher:
Senior Olivia Fisher adjusted well in her move from goalkeeper to the midfield as she played defensive center mid for 240:00 minutes and limited the players she marked to three shots during that span. Fisher help shut down Texas College in two overtimes, as Ozarks did not give up a single shot in either of the overtime periods.
