Murphy Named NCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week - Oct. 21
Allegheny junior midfielder Katie Murphy (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) has been named the NCAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week, for the week ending Oct. 20.
Murphy scored twice in a 3-1 win over Oberlin, becoming the first Gator to score multiple goals in a single game this season. She leads Allegheny with five goals and is tied for the team lead with 10 points. Allegheny posted a 2-1 week, also defeating Hiram, 1-0, and falling to first-place Wittenberg, 1-0.
