Ashley O�Leary Commits to Play at Greensboro College
Greensboro, N.C. � Ashley O�Leary (Mason, Ohio/Mason) has committed to play both women�s lacrosse and soccer at Greensboro College.
O�Leary played four seasons of lacrosse and spent three seasons on the Mason soccer squad. She helped her lacrosse team to the regionals in her senior year, and semifinal and runner-up finishes the previous seasons. In soccer she was a member of the FAVC championship team in 2005.
She will play soccer for second-year Pride Head Coach Franco Bari. GC was 8-9-2 in 2006. In lacrosse, O�Leary joins a women�s lacrosse team led by Coach Gebhard. The Pride was 10-7 and placed second in the USA South Conference this past year.
Founded in 1838 and affiliated with the United Methodist Church, Greensboro College enrolls 1300 students at a campus just West of downtown. The College provides a top-notch liberal arts education with a student-faculty ratio of 16-1.
