Katie Timmons Commits to Play Women�s Soccer at Greensboro College
Greensboro, N.C. �Katie Timmons (Middletown, Del./William Penn HS) has committed to play women�s soccer at Greensboro College, announced Head Coach Franco Bari.
A defender, Timmons played four seasons of varsity soccer and was a team captain in her senior year. Timmons earned Blue Hen Academic honors, was a member of the honor roll and served on the student council at William Penn High School. She played club soccer for the Kirkwood Phantoms.
Timmons will join second-year Head Coach Bari and his team. Last season The Pride was 8-9-2 and had just 3 defeats in its last 13 matches.
Founded in 1838 and affiliated with the United Methodist Church, Greensboro College (www.gborocollege.edu) enrolls 1300 students at a campus just West of downtown. The College provides a top-notch liberal arts education with a student-faculty ratio of 14-1.
