Baruch Announces 2007 Soccer Schedule
The men's soccer team has officially released their schedule for the upcoming fall season.
The Bearcats will open on Labor Day Weekend by participating in the Rowan University Tournament in Glassboro, New Jersey.
They will play the the College of New Jersey on Friday, August 31st, at 6:00 pm, and tournament hosts Rowan University on Saturday, September 1st, at 7:00 pm in their two tournament games.
The team will also participate in the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts Tournament on September 8-9, in North Adams, Massachusetts, with games against UMass-Dartmouth and Emmanuel College of Boston.
The 2006 home schedule at the Met Oval in Maspeth, Queens, will feature conference contests against John Jay (Sept. 12) in a rematch of the 2006 CUNYAC Final, along with City Tech (Sept. 19) and Staten Island (Oct. 13).
A fourth home game on October 1st against a non-conference opponent (tentatively Mount Saint Vincent) will be confirmed at a later date.
The road schedule includes a non-conference game against 2006 Final Four participant NYU on Friday, September 21st, at the Pier 40 soccer field in Greenwich Village (time TBA).
They will also travel to road games at William Paterson and Manhattanville.
The Bearcats won the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Championship in 2006, and played in the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three years.
