4/20/06 - Wartburg German exhibition trip begins this weekend A three-match German exhibition trip is set April 21-30 for the Wartburg women�s soccer. The 2005 Iowa Conference runner-ups and tournament finalists depart from Chicago Friday, April 21, and arrive in Frankfurt Saturday, April 22.
Head coach Jim Conlon�s team will play three matches against German club teams during the trip. The Knights take on FFC Frankfurt Monday, April 24, I FC Gera 03 Thursday, April 27, and TUS Koln Friday, April 28. The team is scheduled to be back in the states Sunday, April 30.
Along with the three exhibition matches, the team members will tour the Wartburg Castle, the towns of Eisenach, Kassel, Schloss Wartburg, Wurzburg, and Heidelberg, and various other sites.
